Map Validation Project
Work by our founder, G Chaitanya Varma, for an organisation that relies on map and location data across several platforms. Not a Chiavero client engagement.
Founder experience: three maps validated in parallel, 437 points of interest across five Indian cities in 12 days.
- Validated mainly across Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Chennai.
- The same validation discipline goes into the systems Chiavero builds.

Problem: When the map is wrong, users notice first.
Map and location data has to be right on every platform it appears on. A wrong address or a misplaced place reaches users directly, and the same location can differ from one platform to the next. Without structured testing and clear reporting, errors are hard to find and harder to prioritise.
Solution: Validation testing, reported clearly.
Our founder carried out validation testing and reporting for the organisation's map and location data: three maps, validated in parallel, mainly across Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Chennai. Findings were written up so the organisation's teams could act on them.
Three maps, validated in parallel.
437 points of interest checked for accuracy, across five Indian cities.
Cross-map checks: the same place compared from one map to the next.
Clear reporting of what was found, and where.
Outcome: Findings the teams could act on.
In 12 days the organisation received validation findings and reports for 437 points of interest across three maps. Chiavero brings the same validation discipline to the systems it builds.
